Motor Vehicle Registration Services Fully Operational — Ministry of Works and Transport
According to the Ministry, the verification platform is intended to promote transparency, protect applicants from being fleeced, and ensure that all registrations are processed through official channels.

The Ministry of Works and Transport has announced that all motor vehicle registration services across the country are now fully operational.

In an update shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Ministry confirmed that services including first-time motor vehicle registration and number plate processing have resumed without interruption.

The Ministry has also cautioned the public particularly first-time vehicle owners against fraudsters and unauthorised middlemen who may seek to exploit applicants during the registration process.

Motorists are advised to use the official Motor Vehicle Registration monitoring dashboard to verify the status of their number plates and registration processes. The tool can be accessed through the government portal.
